What this system achieves

Create metallic character on familiar furniture substrates and complex shapes without replacing structural metal in every application.

Metal without metal sheet
Metal without metal sheet

Furniture parts gain a metallic appearance without cladding every surface with sheet metal.

A material with character

Technology notes

High metal-filler content and mechanical finishing distinguish Liquid Foil from conventional metallic paint. Select the cycle for the substrate and target appearance.

MDF and other prepared substrates. Confirm adhesion separately on plastics, ferrous metal and other substrates.

Spraying is the documented method. Develop and test trowel-applied textures separately.

Sand or polish only after full curing; approve the pattern and gloss on a sample.

Choose the clear topcoat for gloss and service conditions. It affects both protection and the final metal appearance.

Formulations, ratios, application and drying are not universal: a Farby PRO technologist determines them from the substrate, method and trial results.

Coating cycle

This Farby PRO cycle must be approved with a technologist; it is not a universal ICA formulation. Test topcoat adhesion on the actual metallic layer before production.

Key benefits

  • Metallic appearance without making each part from sheet metal.
  • Decorate complex shapes, curved parts and individual details.
  • Five main metallic shades and a broad range of individual effects.
  • Texture comes from surface treatment, not only a printed pattern.
  • Approve a control sample before production.
  • Farby PRO technical support for selection, testing and launch.
