What this system achieves
The aim is a modern metallic surface with more visual depth: soft shade transitions, subtle patina and natural changes in light.
A living surface
Subtle variation, soft transitions and natural light play give depth without strongly antique ageing.
Where it is used
Large interior planes work especially well alongside wood, stone, glass, natural flooring and plants.
Kitchen fronts and islands
Metallic fronts become an accent alongside wood, light stone, plants and daylight, without giving the whole interior one colour.
Wall panels and doors
Large vertical planes reveal depth and satin character. Choose a cooler, neutral or warmer shade for the interior.
Reception desks and retail fixtures
Desks, island modules, showcases and displays gain a metallic character from graphite steel to pale champagne and muted copper.
Different prepared substrates
Furniture parts, switches, lights and appliance elements can share one appearance with appropriate substrate preparation.

PF297EC — MDF preparation
The polyester primer forms a dense, even base. Preparation for other materials is selected separately.
OP385G90 — Gloss colour base
Creates an even background in the chosen shade and visual depth for the metallic surface.
VMA — Decorative metallic layer
Creates the metallic shade and satin character. Ageing intensity is adjusted to the sample and project.
OAC363 — Clear protective finish
Seals the decorative result and provides the required durability and sheen.
Ageing is not a fixed printed texture. Effect intensity, shade depth and surface character are tailored to a sample and project. A FarbyPRO technologist defines the recipe, intermediate operations and application parameters after testing the substrate and equipment.
